Arsenal are one of three Premier League clubs to be named as having an interest in Juventus contract rebel Adrien Rabiot this summer.

The midfielder will be available on a free transfer next month upon the expiry of his deal with Juventus. The Italian giants are keen to get him tied down to a new contract, but he is yet to agree terms.

That has sparked the interest of clubs around Europe, including Arsenal. TEAMtalk name the Gunners as one of the clubs showing interest, alongside Aston Villa and Manchester United. The report states that United have ‘held preliminary talks’ with the French midfielder over a possible move to Old Trafford. But Arsenal provide competition, with the club discussing a move for the free agent internally.

It is, however, said that Rabiot is not Arsenal’s top target for a potential replacement for Thomas Partey. Both Martin Zubimendi and Youssouf Fofana have also been mentioned as possible targets.

Rabiot is currently in Germany, where he is representing France in Euro 2024. Les Bleus take on Belgium in the final 16 of the tournament on Monday evening.

The 29-year-old has started all three group games for his nation. He also played 31 times for Juventus in Serie A last season, scoring five goals and providing a further three assists.

Rabiot is said to have a three-year deal on the table from Juve but won’t be solving his future until after he returns from Euro 2024. He has been able to talk to clubs overseas since January, when there were six months remaining on his contract.
