Arsenal are prepared to sell four players after their quest for Champions League glory ended in disaster on Wednesday, according to reports.

The north Londoners were knockout of the competition in the quarter-finals after suffering defeat in the second leg of their clash against Bayern Munich.

Arsenal are still hoping to land their first Premier League trophy in 20 years but now need current champions Manchester City to slip-up in their last six games.

With their 2023-24 season crumbling, Arsenal are getting ready for the summer transfer window and have already identified two top targets.

It has now emerged that Arsenal will be ‘focused’ on offloading four ‘peripheral’ players – Eddie Nketiah, Reiss Nelson, Thomas Partey and Aaron Ramsdale.

That’s according to the Daily Mail who have claimed that the four stars could be scarified as part of a squad rebuild.

They also report that Arsenal will target a new left-back this summer amid fresh doubts over Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Nketiah came on for the last four minutes of normal time in Arsenal’s defeat to Bayern Munich on Wednesday and was unable to influence the game.

The striker, who came through the club’s Hale End academy, has attracted interest from Premier League sides Crystal Palace and West Ham.

Meanwhile, Arsenal want a new winger if Nelson departs the club with Wolves star Pedro Neto at the top of their wishlist.

Arsenal are hoping a Saudi Pro League side will snap up Partey while Ramsdale has been linked to both Newcastle United and Chelsea.

The Gunners want to make improvements to their squad and Newcastle striker Alexander Isak has become a ‘primary target’ ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Arsenal will also target Crystal Palace star Michael Olise, who is the subject of interest from a number of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.
