Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Aaron Ramsdale, William Saliba and Davis Raya will miss the tour after reaching the latter stages of Euro 2024 with their respective nations.
Tomiyasu has also been left back in London as he continues to receive treatment for a knee problem – along with Kieran Tierney who is recovering from a hamstring injury suffered during Scotland’s Euro 2024 clash against Switzerland.
Martin Odegaard and Gabriel Jesus are part of the 26-man squad heading for the US with Jurrien Timber, who missed almost the entire 2023-24 campaign through injury, also part of the group.
Eddie Nketiah, Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson have also made the trip despite their futures at Arsenal looking uncertain.
Nketiah is wanted by Marseille, who on Thursday confirmed the arrival of Mason Greenwood from Manchester United. The Ligue 1 giants, now managed by Roberto de Zerbi, have lined up Nketiah as their next target with the striker thought to be keen on the move.
Fulham meanwhile saw their opening offer worth up to £30m for Smith Rowe rejected this week. Arteta used the attacking midfielder sparingly last season with Crystal Palace also vying for his signature.
Reiss Nelson meanwhile is wanted by West Ham United.
