ESPN pundit Janusz Michallik has claimed that Ivan Toney would change Arsenal’s mentality if they signed him this month.

Gunners fans are hoping their club will be active in this transfer window. They need reinforcements to give themselves the best chance of winning the Premier League title, and many feel Toney is the man to get them over the line.

Arsenal‘s biggest problem this season has been lack of goals. The North Londoners have scored 37 times in the Premier League so far this season – the worst record among the top five so far.

Things need to change up front for Arsenal, and Ivan Toney has been heavily linked with a move to the Emirates over the last few months.

Now, Janusz Michallik has backed the Gunners to sign the Brentford star by claiming he will change the mentality at the club if he does come in.

“Ivan Tony makes sense” He said on ESPN.

“I don’t know how long it’s going to take him to pick up speed and get back to it. I know he’s been training for a long time. I don’t think it’s an issue. He knows the league, he knows how to score in this league.

“It seems that Arsenal are serious about him and I think he changes the mentality of that team all of a sudden.”
