Ethan Nwaneri reacts after Bradley Ibrahim leaves Arsenal

The Gunners have had a really quiet window in terms of incomings, but there is a fair bit of movement with young players heading out. Ibrahim secured his permanent move from Arsenal earlier today.

Bradley Ibrahim was very highly rated at Arsenal as he came through the ranks at Hale End. The talented teenager, who joined the Gunners after being released by QPR as a 13-year-old, showed a lot of promise at academy level over the years.

Mikel Arteta even called him up to senior training sessions on numerous occasions over the last year, and there was a feeling he could get opportunities with the first team at some point

However, news emerged yesterday that German side Hertha Berlin had made Ibrahim an offer, and the Gunners agreed to let him leave for ‘almost nothing’.

Arsenal have matching rights to sign him back in the future if they wish to. They have also included a sell-on clause and will add-ons for appearances (Fabrizio Romano).

After he underwent his medical, Ibrahim’s move was made official today, and a number of his teammates at Arsenal have wished him well for the next stage of his career.

Reacting to the news on Instagram, both Ethan Nwaneri and Myles Lewis-Skelly wrote: “Good luck bro!”

Brooke Norton-Cuffy commented: “Go rip it brother!”
