Following a determined win for Arsenal against Brighton Hove Albion on Sunday, Lewis Dunk has now shared his verdict on the game.

The Brighton captain was formidable at the back against Arsenal, who did look like they might frustrate Mikel Arteta’s side.

However, Dunk was the first to admit that Arsenal were simply too strong to cope with on the day.

And Arsenal fans may be particularly intrigued to hear Brighton’s Dunk talk about the style which the home side imposed.

Speaking to bEIN SPORTS after the game, Dunk said: “I just think they were probably the better side overall.

“They pressed us super aggressive and we struggled to play the football we usually play, and that’s not usually us.

“We had to do a different side of the game today, we made some clearances, some blocks, we were doing well enough to keep the ball out of the net and then we concede a set piece.

“It’s frustrating and it’s difficult from there, obviously we had a big chance with Pascal [Gross] after going one nil down, and at one all it changes the game and we get an extra boost but it wasn’t meant to be.”
