“As far as playing my position is concerned, my inspiration was Sergio Ramos,” Jakub told Arsenal.com. “We would often watch his video clips.”

A strong defender, adept with the ball, aggressive in the duel and capable of playing either centre back or at full back, it’s easy to see how a prime Ramos would have ticked almost every one of Arteta’s boxes.
