Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa has branded Arsenal captain Martin Odegaard as an ‘excellent’ player before the two sides meet in the Champions League tomorrow.

The Gunners are in amazing form. They have won each of their last five games in the Premier League with an aggregate score of 21-2. Odegaard has been the star of the show.

Martin Odegaard has been one of Arsenal’s best players for a couple of years now. The 25-year-old Norway international scored 15 goals and provided eight assists in the Premier League last season. He has seven goals and eight assists in all competitions this time around and is getting better and better every week.

The Arsenal’s skipper has a goal and three assists in his last two games. He is in fantastic form right now, and Porto will have to be wary of him.

The Portuguese giants’ goalkeeper, Diogo Costa, was asked about Odegaard before the game tomorrow, and he branded the Norwegian as an ‘excellent player’. However, he refused to put all the focus on the Arsenal captain.

Costa told O Jogo: “Odegaard is an excellent player, but he is not a player who will do all the work alone. We are focused on the whole team.”
