Mikel Arteta is facing a number of injury concerns ahead of the Newcastle clash – with Emile Smith Rowe,Gabriel Jesus, Thomas Partey and Jurrien Timber remain sidelined with their respective injury problems.
Ahead of the clash at St. James’ Park, former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp has offered his prediction on how the game will pan out.
Redknapp told Football Betting: “I think we’ll see fireworks on bonfire weekend in this one! Newcastle are in a bit of a sticky patch but they’ve had a couple of injuries.
“The performances have been decent and with these home fans behind them, they’ll still take some stopping. Arsenal cruised to the win at home last week, but I do think you can get at this side on the road.
“They drew at Chelsea, got beat in the Champions League away. I’m curious how they perform here. I can’t split these two. The only thing I’m confident of is goals.
“I’m going for a 2-2 thriller! Anthony Gordon has caused so many problems this season, if it’s Ben White at right-back, he’ll have his hands full.”
Harry Redknapp prediction: Newcastle United 2-2 Arsenal
Berbatov has agreed with Redknapp’s prediction and believes the Gunners are in for a difficult test at St. James’ Park on Saturday.
Speaking to Metro, Berbatov said: “That’s a big game. Newcastle will be tired because of the games they’re playing in all the different competitions at the moment.
“They’ve had good results so far. It’s possible that Arsenal could lose here, but I’ll play it safe and go for the draw.”
