Reuell Walters could be in line to make his Arsenal debut against PSV in the Champions League tomorrow night.

That’s according to The Standard, with the outlet claiming that Arsenal have held talks with the youngster over a new contract.

Mikel Arteta is expected to rotate his side tomorrow night as the Gunners have already booked their place in the knockout stages by topping their group.

It should give the Arsenal boss a good opportunity to rest some key players ahead of their clash against Brighton on Sunday. But it will also give Arteta the chance to take a closer look at some of his fringe players and youngsters.

And it seems that Reuell Walters could be in line to make his debut in the Netherlands tomorrow.

Walters is attracting interest from a host of Premier League clubs and European sides. But Arsenal have held talks over a new deal for the Englishman.

Walters has been ever-present for Arsenal’s Under-21s this season, making 15 appearances and grabbing a goal and an assist along the way.

The England U19s international has also been training with the first team at Arsenal recently.

Arteta rates Walters highly and he could get an opportunity to be part of the squad after Takehiro Tomiyasu’s injury.

Indeed, Arsenal are short of cover for Ben White at right-back and it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Arteta hand Walters an opportunity tomorrow.

The Gunners do have Cedric Soares as an option in the position but it would be intriguing to see how Walters performs if he’s handed his debut on Tuesday evening.
